LIVESTOCK ENTRY DEADLINE IS AUGUST 14, 2026

All entries for The Panhandle-South Plains Fair are required to abide by the rules set forth in our annual Livestock Premium Book. The complete rules and regulations for each livestock department division are included in our Livestock Premium Book 2026.

2026 LIVESTOCK CHANGES

1. Open Beef Cattle will now set up from 12 pm-6 pm and have cattle in place by 4 pm.
2. Jr. Beef Heifer will now set up from 12 pm-6 pm and have cattle in place by 4 pm.
3. Jr. Beef Heifer has added an ARB class.
4. Jr. Steer will be placing to 5th overall.
5. Jr. Steer will allow for tack and equipment until 6:00 pm on Thursday, October 1st. Steers must be in place by 10:30 am on Friday, October 2nd.
6. Wether Doe is a Texas only show.
7. Wether Dam is a Texas only show.

JUNIOR LIVESTOCK

Junior Livestock Entry Form 2026 MUST DOWNLOAD FORM FOR CALCULATIONS TO WORK.
A $15 processing fee will be added to each 4H Club and FFA Chapter.
All 4H and FFA teachers must purchase a wristband and parking pass.

Arrival: Goats arrival is on Friday, 9/25 from 12pm until 5pm.
Judging: 9am on Saturday, 9/26.
Release: All Market Goats must be out of the barns by 8am on Sunday, 9/27.

Arrival: Steer arrival is on Thursday, 10/1 from 8am until 6pm.
Judging: 9am on Saturday, 10/3.
Release: Steers will be released on Saturday, 10/3 after their class has been judged.
Arrival: Heifers should arrive before 4pm, Saturday, 9/26.
Judging: Monday, 9/28 (30 minutes following the Open Beef Show).
Release: Heifers will be released on Monday, 9/28 after their class has been judged.
Arrival: Friday, 10/2 from 7am to 4pm.
Judging: Lambs will be classified and judged on Saturday, 10/3 beginning at 8am.
Release: Lambs will be released on Saturday, 10/3 after their class has been judged.

OPEN LIVESTOCK

Arrival: 2pm to 6pm Friday, 9/25 and until 11am on Saturday, 9/26.
Judging: 9am on Sunday, 9/27 in premium book order.
Release: Sunday, 9/27 after judging.
Open Swine Entry Form 2026 MUST DOWNLOAD FORM FOR CALCULATIONS TO WORK.
A $15 processing fee will be added to each exhibitor.
Each Exhibitor will receive 4 wristbands.
Wristbands must be worn at ALL TIMES.

Arrival: Begins Monday, 9/28 at 8am and must be in place by 3pm.
Judging: Tuesday, 9/29 at 9am.
Release: Following show on Tuesday, 9/29. Must be out by 12:00 noon on Wednesday, 9/30.

Open Boer Goat Entry Form 2026 MUST DOWNLOAD FORM FOR CALCULATIONS TO WORK.
A $15 processing fee will be added to each exhibitor.

Each Exhibitor will receive 4 wristbands & 1 parking pass.
Wristbands must be worn at ALL TIMES.

Arrival: Sheep must be in place by 4:00 pm on Tuesday, 9/29.
Judging: 9am on Wednesday, 9/30 in premium book order.
Release: After show on Wednesday, 9/30.
Open Southdown Entry Form 2026 MUST DOWNLOAD FORM FOR CALCULATIONS TO WORK.
A $15 processing fee will be added to each exhibitor.

Each Exhibitor will receive 4 wristbands & 1 parking pass.
Wristbands must be worn at ALL TIMES.

Arrival: Sheep must be in place by 8:00 am-4:00 pm on Tuesday, 9/29.
Judging: Following Southdown Show on Wednesday, 9/30.
Release: After show on Wednesday, 9/30.

Arrival: Cattle must be in place between 8am-12pm on Saturday, 9/26.
Judging: 9am on Monday, 9/28.
Release: Breeds will be released after judging is complete for each show.

LIMOUSIN

HEREFORD

ALL OTHER REGISTERED BREEDS

DAIRY CATTLE

Open and Junior classes will be judged simultaneously, see premium book for details.

Arrival: Cattle will be accepted until 6pm on Saturday, 9/26.
Judging: 8am on Monday, 9/28.
Release: Monday, 9/28 after judging.

Release: For exhibitors living 75 miles or more, 6pm - 10pm on Sunday, 9/27. All others 9pm on Monday, 9/28.

Late entries will not be accepted. Entry fees are $3.00 per bird.

Rabbit Entry Form 2026

Arrival: 2pm – 9pm on Tuesday, 9/29 and 8am – 10pm on Wednesday, 9/30.
Judging: 9am on Thursday, 10/1 and 9am Friday, 10/2.
Release: Beginning at 8pm on Saturday, 10/3.

Entry Deadline: September 25, 2026
No late entries will be accepted. Entry fees are $3.00 for a single rabbit and meat pen classes.
