SPECIAL RULES
  1. ENTRY TIMES — All divisions other than Bread, Cake, Cookies and Candy — Tuesday, September 21, 7 a.m. - 6 p.m.; Wednesday, September 22, 7 a.m. - 12:00 noon. Bread, Cake, Cookies and Candy Thursday, September 23, 7 a.m.-12:00 noon.
  2. Please note that exhibitors in the youth department are NOT limited to 4-H and FCCLA members.
  3. Read carefully the Rules and Regulations of the Women’s Department which apply in this department except in case of any conflict with special rules here.
  4. See General Rules 12 and 13 under Women’s Department General Rules for exhibit redemption time.
  5. All entry forms will be completed by workers when items are accepted for entry. Exhibitors are asked to bring three (3) self-adhesive labels for each item entered. The labels should be standard address labels (1-1/7"x3-1/2") Please use 14 point, Block font. Each label should have in the following order: Name, Address, City, Zip Code, and Club Affiliation (4-H, FCCLA, or VEH only).
  6. Only individuals through the eighth grade are eligible to exhibit in the Junior Household Linens, Clothing, and Culinary Division in this department; individuals in the ninth grade through twelfth grade are eligible to compete in the Senior Household Linens, Clothing, and Culinary divisions. Individuals may NOT enter in both Youth and Adult Culinary Divisions. Pee wees are children 5 years old and under. All youth may enter Canned Goods and Photography.
  7. All exhibits must be the work of the exhibitor and made in the previous 12 months. All entries should be clean. NAMES CANNOT BE ON ARTICLES. Names, type of canned good and/or dates may not be writen on canned good lids.
  8. Bread, cakes, cookies, and candies will be transferred to cake rounds at the time of entry. The articles will be discarded at the end of the fair. No sheet cakes or decorated cakes accepted. Breads and cakes will be cut in half, with half of the cake returned to the individual at the time of entry.
  9. See SPECIAL RULES for Photography Division. Exhibitors may have only one entry in each class in each division of Photography. Each photo must be at least 8"X10" and may not exceed 14"X16". All photographs must be matted or framed and ready to hang.
  10. The following prizes will be given in each category (4-H Club, FCCLA Chapter and Vocational Education Organization {VEH}) whose members win the greatest total of points on individual exhibits: First, $60.00; Second, $40.00; Third, $30.00. The points will be counted as follows: Blue Ribbon (1st), 3; Red Ribbon (2nd), 2; White Ribbon (3rd), 1.
  11. To the 4-H Club member, FCCLA member and VEH member winning the greatest total number of points, the following prizes will be given: First, $15.00; Second, $12.50; Third, $10.00.

2010 Mega Pass

Mega Pass is Back

The Mega Pass will be $60 again this year. Sales begin Monday, August 3rd at 3PM! They will be available for purchase at the Fair Park Coliseum before Labor Day Monday - Friday 3PM - 6PM. After Labor Day the times will be Monday-Friday 12 Noon - 6PM and Saturdays 10AM - 4PM.

The last day to purchase a Mega Pass will be Saturday, September 19th from 10AM - 6PM. They will not be available after that day!

The Mega Pass is a pay-one-price picture ID that is good for a wristband for unlimited rides each day of the carnival operation: September 24th - October 3rd.

**Pony rides and other specialty rides may be exempted.**
