SPECIAL RULES
  1. ENTRY TIMES — Bread, Cake, Cookies and Candy — Thursday, September 20, 7 a.m.-12:00 noon. All other divisions — Tuesday, September 18, 7 a.m. - 6 p.m.; Wednesday, September 19, 7 a.m. - 12:00 noon.
  2. Please note that exhibitors in the youth department are NOT limited to 4-H and FCCLA members.
  3. Read carefully the Rules and Regulations of the Women’s Department which apply in this department except in case of any conflict with special rules here.
  4. See General Rules 12 and 13 under Women’s Department General Rules for exhibit redemption time.
  5. All entry forms will be completed by workers when items are accepted for entry. Exhibitors are asked to bring 3 labels for each item entered. The label should show name, address, and club affiliation of the exhibitor. Labels should be self adhesive and typed with a 12 point font.
  6. Only individuals through the eighth grade are eligible to exhibit in the Junior Household Linens, Clothing, and Culinary Division in this department; individuals in the ninth grade through High School are eligible to compete in the Senior Household Linens, Clothing, and Culinary divisions. Individuals may NOT enter in both Youth and Adult Culinary.
  7. All exhibits must be the work of the exhibitor. NAMES CANNOT BE ON ARTICLES.
  8. Bread, cakes, cookies, and candies will be exhibited on cake circles only! These articles will be discarded. No sheet cakes or decorated cakes accepted.
  9. The following prizes will be given in each category (4-H Club, FCCLA Chapter and Vocational organization) whose members win the greatest total of points on individual exhibits: First, $60.00; Second, $40.00; Third, $30.00. These points will be counted as follows: Blue Ribbon, 3; Red Ribbon, 2; White Ribbon, 1.
  10. To the 4-H Club member, FCCLA member and Vocational member winning the greatest total number of points, the following prizes will be given: First, $15.00; Second, $12.50; Third, $10.00.
  11. All points for 4-H, FCCLA and Vocational Organizations entering the Flower Festival will be tabulated in the Youth Department.
  12. Youth may enter any of the classes listed in Adult Horticulture, Division 83, using the regular class numbers followed by “Y” (for Youth). (below)

Mega Pass is Back for 2007

Mega Pass is Back

The Mega Pass will be $50 prior to Labor Day and $60 after Labor Day. Sales begin Wednesday, August 1st! They will be available for purchase at the Fair Park Coliseum before Labor Day Monday - Friday 2PM - 6PM and Saturdays beginning 8/18 10AM - 2PM. After Labor Day the times will be Monday-Friday 12 Noon - 6PM and Saturdays 10AM - 2 PM.

**The last day to purchase a $50 Mega Pass will be Saturday, September 1st!**

The Mega Pass is a pay-one-price picture ID that is good for a wristband for unlimited rides each day of the carnival operation: September 20th - September 29th.

**Pony rides and other specialty rides may be exempted.**
